That why I decided to support hydraulic fracturing that where population is sparse and get approval from homeowners that where they have mineral rights like oil shale underneath the ground, so I wish that they have better technology to catch the odors from gas that cause health problems.

I have no sympathy for OPEC and Russia.
 
Do you realize how OPEC CAN impact the Fracking... in NEGATIVE, not positive, because oil is getting cheaper, the energy buyer would end up buy oil from OPEC because it is CHEAPER, while workers at tracking won't allow pay to be cut for their wage which in turn making it more expensive than oil.

Applies to keystone pipeline too, it is now going to cost us dearly if we go ahead keystone pipeline cause Canadian will decide buy oil from OPEC instead from states.

This isn't the first time I have heard happening, its been like that since 70's when somebody tried to turn coal into oil, and was close to achieve that but OPEC learn about it and decided ramp up the production to get oil price drop to the point where converting coal into oil is too expensive, thus abandoned that attempt, once they abandoned them for a while, OPEC cuts oil production.

OPEC has $$$$ (Arabia has $2.6 trillion in their saving account) on their hand which gives them greater power and advantage, and is way ahead of everybody in the world, they can afford drop price so low to get countries who depends on it for economy gets screwed.
 
Also, it (OPEC decision) hurts South Dakota economy already. There will be massive lay offs up in South Dakota oil fields happen very soon or already is happening. Who knows.

At least, I am happy with cheaper fuel for my vehicles.

IDLE NO MORE!!!!!!!! Native people including me would love to stop KXL Keystone Pipeline from using the pipelines from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico. We just don't like having putting the oil and gas through the pipelines as they can leak onto our First Nations reserves and Reservations (USA). If it get leak, it will make our environment polluted and Native people get sick just like the Oceans where the boats leak oil by accident. That black oil polluted on the water. That is why animals and wildlife in the oceans were affected and pretty much all of them died from it.

So no pipelines. Natives and other people outside of Natives support oil and gas but not the way to deliver by pipelines. What is wrong with trucks delivering them? I don't know about trains that can deliver oil and gas as long as there were no accidents. Of course, trucks can get accidents spilling oil and gas. That is dangerous. Is there a way to prevent from spilling oil and gas so that would protect our Mother Earth and people? :(

Let me put it this way. Suppose if were the ones in trouble with economy you think Russia would help us out? NO WAY! so why should we help them out?
 
Very good chance that keystone pipeline project is going south (In other word, it won't happen) anyway. It will get too expensive to build pipeline for American oil suppliers cause OPEC, as other supplier is selling at cheaper rate. It would be financially sound IF OPEC cuts the production too steep to build Keystone pipeline so really it is no longer making any financially sense to start now.

Say, if you need to buy a jug of gas from one of either gas stations across from each other, American gas for $3.75/gal and OPEC gas on other side of street wants $2.25/gal, so which one you would choose? The answer is obviously, so if American gas station isn't exist, would it be financially sensible if build American Gas station selling $3.75/gal minimum when the OPEC gas station across the street sells for much less?

We help them out? How? I don't see how it is going to happen. OPEC is giving Russia middle fingers, and you think the states is going to help Russia? I don't think so.

Too bad that Russia economic depends too much on oil, whose fault is it? It is their fault period, for not making good economic sense (Limiting investment in one place). Now you see WHY United States Government don't want to do any business of any kind. United States prefers private business dealing with all kinds of business, and collect taxes... Very wise decision keep Capitalism, and diversifies the investments so that one fails, there is plenty others to back up. Now you see why we have rich people around, to help economy WHILE there is not many rich people up there in Russia so, they ended up getting little help economically.
