It is hard to describe things in short posts, without visuals.used to, as in " i am used to it" or "don't worry they'll get used to it." seems like it is something off the left arm. of course i cannot find it on any websites.
Shel, I had the same question. I was wondering if you can show me, on the VP.If u have VP, I can show u cuz I suck at describing ASL signs. Ask your deaf friends?

Unfortunately i don't have VP. There is another thread about the difficulty for hearing to get one. How much do they cost? I need a better internet connection anyway, Clearwire sux.
Although one friend in conversation was saying she was used to seeing a certain thing and she did the sign for habit but both hands were "U" i would assume for "used to" i was like THANK YOU!!! good lord i have been looking for that for such a long time!! But i know that probably wont fit all situations.
I've seen HABIT initialized with "U" on the top hand for "used". But I've never seen it with two hands. That might be a regional variation....Although one friend in conversation was saying she was used to seeing a certain thing and she did the sign for habit but both hands were "U" i would assume for "used to" i was like THANK YOU!!! good lord i have been looking for that for such a long time!!
