Onlive to take Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft out of videogame business?

Just recently everyone been talking about that new videogame system called Onlive where you can use it on a PC or a TV to stream videogames.

Gee, and where have I heard that somewhere before?

Wouldnt beat Nintendo, Microsoft or even Sony abit.

But...with Onlive, which they say may revloutionize the videogames history.

is it possible? you tell me.

Onlive wud get its ass kicked in the PC gaming sector esp when competing with STEAM. I just like downloading my PC games thru Steam cuz there's no discs to lose or take up space. I got most of my games thru steam and Im really liking it very much I aint wanna buy games on cd's or dvd's anymore.

But what's more interesting is even I can play Crysis or GTA4 on my old HP, with only 512 meg RAM and 64 meg GeForce 440-GO, if I used the OnLive service However, I think I'd be better off doing it on my Gateway cuz after all I got 4GB RAM and 1GB GeForce 9800M GTS and both games handle great on it. It makes me wonder if I will finally be able not to worry about PC specs when going thru OnLive.... Time will tell, but nothing cant stop Moore's Law and games doesnt stop for that :lol:
 
OnLive will worthless if anyone who live in area that offers dial-up or slower DSL only, in my area, they offers up to 3 mbps and can't play stream games in HD.

First party games wouldn't sign with OnLive, especially Nintendo and MS has many great first party games like Mario.

PC games would still in business because not everyone has fast broadband and you can't modify like use trainer or load save games that you back up from other PC.

I'm sticking with PC games and traditional console.

I'm Steam user for 2 years and OnLive isn't exact same as Steam.

Steam does require full download and install before you play but OnLive is game on demand that which don't require download or install, you just play games from their server.

Steam does require you to have fast CPU and good video card to play but OnLive don't because their hardware is in server and able to play games on low end PC like netbook or laptop with Intel GMA.

Steam is too far to compare with OnLive.

The only people who would actually consider buying this are computer literate nerds who want to pay high-end games without shelling out for a gaming PC. Consoles have them covered already.
 
Yeah, thats AWESOME!! but games are select limit, because onlive doesnt have many games when launch day...

what? You are kidding?
Onlive has own little cute console (size as Ipod classic or PSP), it can hook up with TV without require specs as such any computers.. like plug and play..

Someday, I will give try to play video-games on ulv netbook via onlive.

I made mistake, I means it's depends on their requirement system, some games from Steam does work on low end PC, my bad.

Yup, Onlive has own server that you can play from their server but only need faster internet so you are good to go.

Hey I didnt say you are mistakes.. I thought that you might be forget what onlive selling console for tv, LCD or Monitor pc which people can plug and play. thats all.. :cool2:
 
Aww you already create this before me.. i think my thread should merge with this.. I might require MOD to see if they can do..
