A friend of mine and I were eating dinner, and there was this large brown paper bag sitting there, and me being curious, I inflated the bag as big as it would get, and popped it, and it was LOUD. Sounded like something went off, and given there were tile floors nearby, there was this echo, and it left a ringing in my ears. Oh my.

When I was younger I blew up a bag and popped just it as my dad drove over a RR crossing , is scarce my dad . I am lucky to still be alive to tell this.

I'm going to be serious here... a big part of the equation is your audience. If you told that story to a forum of kindergarden kids you'd get a ton of laughs. But this is a more adult-type of forum so knock-knock, farting, and explosion jokes would not work well here.

Don't beat yourself up, it's just a forum, even the most successful comedians have bombed and picked themselves back up. It's all a trial-and-error process really; no one became a success overnight. Even Thomas Edison went through over a thousand prototypes before finally inventing a workable lightbulb.

The most important thing is that you learn from this and push on you can only get better at this point.
