Older FM receiver and Naidas?

I have kept my old FM receiver that I use with one of my Phonak Superfront Aids. When I used this FM receiver with my Superfront aid, the 3 switches you see on the picture worked.

Does anyone know if they would work with my Naidas if I was to have to use this receiver (its my spare)?

I don't have audio shoes to check the switches out.

My intregrated receivers don't have these switches so that is why I'm wondering :)

it seems like the Naida has its own Fm receivers/shoes (the ML10 or ML11) that can be used, don't know if the MLx receivers would work, unless you can get a shoe for the Naida that would use this receiver.

I have the intregrated receivers for the Naidas.

The old receiver would work with the Naida if I get a shoe but what I'm wondering as with my analog aid you had no FM program but with digital aids you do, as digital aids have a fixed FM program, would those 3 switches still work?

I have no idea. I don't even know what the switches are for. I have an even older MLx receiver, never really knew what the different settings were for, I just left it on the 1 and that was that.

I had that FM boot before, the green dots indicate whether it's off, loud and loudest. works the same way with the dinosaurs too (my 1st aid)

I have this with my iCom instead of having integrated receivers so that if i get new ha's or CI I can use that instead of having to keep getting new receivers for on the ha

That's a good idea. Think cdmeggers is gonna use her old one for her CI and then only get a new one for her Naida.

I paid for this one in the pic but I got 2 intragrated receivers funded (I only wear one anyway as no point wearing one on my left) along with the Smartlink plus. I thought if I keep this one, then I'm safe if I ever need new HAs or I go for CI.

yeah the old one will be for my CI and I'm working on getting the newer one for my Naida.

Do you have any suggestions for funding for FM systems?
There is no way I can afford $2,000 for a smartlink and 2 receivers and my hearing aids are not the spice generation (phonak Nadia original) so they don't work with the icom or the remote mic.
VocRehab bought my current aids but declared that I was good to go with my new hearing aids.

That was 2 years ago.
I've moved to a different state and I have progressive hearing loss so things have changed.

That's strange as yours don't work with the icom coz LoveZebras and LoveBlue pre spice Naidas do work with the icom and ComPilot as well so then would work with the remote mic as well.

regular pre spice naidas work with the iCom I don't know who told you it didn't...

yeah the original Naida does work with the iCom and all that. I trialed an iCom when I got my pre-Spice Naida a couple years ago.

and talk to Vocational Rehab again about the FM. If you have an actual need for the FM for work/school/whatever, they may be able to help. I'm currently in the process of working with the local Vocational Rehab to acquire a new FM unit for me to use when I go back to college in January.

Even the old Pre spice Naida III still work with the icom and ComPilot.

LoveBlue actually has both a iCom and ComPilot and they work well. The only thing that won't work with Pre spice Naidas is the remote control feature of the ComPilot. I must say myself that its so much easier to press your HA button anyway.
The remote only works as a remote when round your neck or when the neck loop is unplugged, which means its useless to me anyway :)

I was mistaken.
I read something on the phonak website that said that the icom wouldn't work with the "basic" level Nadas.
I have Naida III dAz.

For now I use my old skool FM system (box receiver and transmitter) using DAI. It is awkward in lecture but it is what I have.

I think that an FM system would work best for me (grad/med student with bilateral PTAs of 103 dB and 105 dB as of 2 weeks ago) but I understand that iCom is much, much cheaper.

If any of you have advice about what would work best let me know.
The situations I am in everyday are lecture, small group discussions, one on one meetings (I'm pretty good one on one in quiet), and starting next year I need a way to connect to a stethoscope.

Regarding funding...I'll check in with VR and I'm talking to my school.
