Years ago. my deaf friend came home to find the Police had surrounded his home where his parents lived...he was shocked...and thought his Parents were hurt or something...He parked his car on the street and started running towards his house...not knowing the Police were yelling to "Stop"!...He was tackled by a Police Officer before he could get to the front door....Luckily, he was not shot....
To find an escapee from prison had broken into his parents home and held them hostage....It all worked out well tho,...SWAT and the Police finally convinced the escapee to surrender.....
We Deafies are in danger of getting shot moreso than hearing I believe....
