If you read the article, they are using buildings that have sat unused for a year or more. The military isn't going to the ones taking care of the kids, and the kids need somewhere to go while they are waiting to be placed. I really don't see any harm in them being housed on bases.

As libertarian and strong pro-immigration stance, I don't care about immigrants, even legal or illegal come to our country, but I don't welcome immigrants are criminal.
