NY Police Shot And fighting for His life :(

It is an interesting difference in way these news articles are written....
 
It wasnt sensless. he was a known criminal, and plain cloths cops saw him allegedly tugging at his waist and then aproached.
He then opened fire.
Cops are trained for scenarios like this, approsching known crooks who may be armed and wish to not go back in, are daily.
Sucks to be cop
But
Not sensless.
