For me, same. Always relate word to something visual so can remember. Foreign languages come *very* easy for me. Can *do* English but lazy here at AD because among friends and no 'grammar' check.
But easily speak, write and read Spanish, same with English, read and write French (have trouble enunciating). ASL obviously but am very slow it seem to me especially when compare to Travis. Also know a little Portuguese (because mix of Spanish and French) plus some German because work with German family for summer and they teach me standard greetings, etc. Also know a little Danish (heritage) but definitely not fluent in.
Love different languages but love my own the best.
