blondonin kindness-I appreciate your thought on it....one thing to be aware of is the degree to which people come in with "it's so beautiful"....ASL has all facets to it like languages do. Beauty is one of them. There many sign languages with their own aspects too. "beautiful" may help a hearing child but doesn't help a deaf kid get equal access to language rights - lack of equity.....much more to it than an image....
