I didn't know where to put this so I put this in this forum. I saw a sale on a 42" DLP HDTV for only $899 at Circuit city with free shipping. It's a Samsung, too. If anyone's interested in it, then go for it. P.S. It does not support 1080p, though.

Buy the Samsung 42" DLP Projection HDTV (HL-S4266W) and other Projection TVs at circuitcity.com

Or this one

CompUSA.com: Syntax-Brillian Olevia 332H 32-inch LCD TV - Electronics » Televisions » LCD TVs

It proves that HDTVs are not that expensive anymore. They're roughly the price range as the old SDTVs used to be.

That's a good price! I would not mind to buy one but we have too many TVs. :giggle: So I guess we have to wait for 2 or 3 of our TVs die first.

I only have 2 TVs, one in the closet (tiny 13") and other one that 27" regular TV we use often. I plan to buy a LCD HDTV next year.

I just bought a 37" ViewSonic LCD HDTV a couple weeks ago for $999.99 (CANADIAN, not AMERICAN) and it goes up to 1080i. The image quality is stunning, it's an exclusive model for Costco.

It has 3 HDMI ports, 1 component port, 1 VGA port and some reg' ol RCA inputs.

The quality is amazing especially at the price it's being sold for. I'm glad I bought this TV and PS3 is hooked up to it... just can't believe the quality of it.

Cool..we have 2 TVs in two computers, one in my office, one in my son's room, one in living room, one in our bedroom and final one in family room downstairs..too many!

I told DHB that's enough! HA!

I've still got a 21" television that I've had since 1988. It still works beautifully! :)

Great price, I'm getting new HDTV in next year, also need have HDMI input too.

I can careless about 1080p.

Thanks for more information about HDTV. :D

Viewsonic 20" HDTV/monitor for $376.33. It does not come with a ATSC tuner, but you can connect it with a cable box or a dish to pick up HDTV signals. It's a great monitor for gaming or computer monitor, though. The only thing is missing is HDMI or DVI connector, the price is great but the connectors that are neccessary sucks.
