Parents of D/HOH children in the North Texas area are invited to an event on November 15th at First Baptist Church, Grapevine, Texas. The event is being sponsored by the Texas Chapter of Hands & Voices (the church is just offering us a place to meet). Program specifics are still being finalized and I will post more info as it becomes available, but the plans are for a presentation on helping your child learn to self-advocate, a panel discussion, time for mingling and activities for the children.
