I have a somewhat unrelated question if anyone is still around... I was reading an article where one individual (who was deaf) expressed a sort of distaste for the term 'deaf CULTURE' as opposed to an alternative like 'deaf COMMUNITY', saying that the word, "culture" seemed to section things off too much. Maybe I should open up a new thread for such a broad topic, but this is something I cited in my paper and it would be interesting to have any ideas or comments on it.
