I have now gone a week without my ha and i feel naked! im so use to having it on and now that i'm waiting for my new one i feel so deprived lol my classes have kinda stuck too cuz 2 of my classes have had presentations and today all i heard was mumbling for 2 hours straight..thank goodness for laptops! :) i still have 2-3 weeks until i get my beloved ha back!

Laptop? I'm curious, how does your laptop help with your classes?

Probably the laptop is used to type everything to the screen from the teacher's speech or whatever by a helper OR the laptop has a software that can recongise the voice and change into text.

That is what I was wondering but I wanted to understand excatly what she was talking about. I was wondering for myself for when I do go back to school.
 
ya for that, and since i couldnt understand all the ppt were under our schools intralink system thing so i just pulled those up:)

What happened to your HA? Are they in the shop?

I have had my HA's in the shop before and the audiologist gave me a loaner HA meanwhile. It wasn't the best but, I used my own mold and it was something to help me get by for a while. I would ask for a loaner if available.
 
I can't get a loaner cuz im waiting for a whole new ha+mold ..my cat took my ha and hid it somewhere...or its in a vent. We looked everywhere for like 6 hrs...so we gave up and i ordered a new one. I only have to pay 185. 100 for deductible under warranty (phonak) and 85 for new mold.
