I remember when I was about 7ish years old -- we had this neat and lovely park near the neighbourhood where I lived in San Rafael...family and I'd go there and spend a few hours, frolicking around and having a picnic.  There'd be quite a number of squirrels there who were bold enough to get closer to me and retrieve any food I had in my hands.  One time -- a squirrel was brave to sit on my knee while I crouched closer to the ground to feed them.  That one refused to leave until I was completely out of food,

Today -- I don't see a lot of squirrels where I live -- not well populated of squirrels, but possums...not those ugly fugged ones in USA... Those possums are quite daring to get as close as possible to humans if they're desperate enough for food. :)  A few possums were brave enough to try climbing on my leg and try to reach the bread loaves I had with me! (Not only bread loves, but vegetable and fruit scraps as well)
