Hello All: Thanks to my ASL1 Professor for introducing me to this site. I am finishing ASL1 next week, and hope to go all the way to registered interpreter. We will see. I am loving class and learning about the Deaf community. I live in Austin. It would be nice to meet locals in the same place as me with ASL; I would particularly like advice on places to go in the community being such a NEWBIE, or, is it too soon?
