Okay here goes ... I am a newbie all the way around. Never posted anything on a forum ever before.
I am hearing impaired and not sure how I fit within this ALLDEAF place. I have never been around this sort of culture. I am stuck between both worlds. Trying to get by the best I can in the hearing world. Not one to say as much as BOOO!! I would like to meet some folks on here. I am struggling professionally in my life and would love to hear inputs because I am not atuned (sp) to what resources are available for someone like myself.
Here is a little background ... I am 39 recently married male and grew up in rural MT. I have been hearing impaired all my life. I have managed to get a bachelor degree and am happy with my professional area of work. Live in Northern Colorado area now. Hope I didnt run on to long. Lets see how this works. Would love to hear back from you all.
