Hi, I am new to this website and was wondering if there are any people from Florida or the Panama City Beach area. I lost my hearing around the age of 12 and am 37 now. I am looking for people who have lost their hearing and are lip-readers. I had a CI put in about 6 years ago but couldn't get it to work for me so I still have this thing implanted in my head. I have a lot of regrets about having it done. Anyone who has had one that regrets it? Drop me a line if you want to. Christy

Hi Welcome to AD and enjoy here, and i never had CI.. Glady i don't ask for it, cuz i was planned to. I just accept who i am.
