Hello my name is Joi (Joy),
I'm new to this site but i wanted to introduce my self, I'm an 26 years old hearing single mother who has always had a love for sign language and the deaf culture. I have seen that there aren't many places that have interpreters where i have been, and when i do go to place the deaf people are looked over because others think that being deaf is a disability. I truly get upset when i see any person getting treated badly, but I'm become extremely upset when i see deaf people treated rudely. I would love to be on other the people that bridge the gap between the 2 world of hearing and deaf. Hopefully you all will be the awesome people to help me learn!!
