Hi all! Thought I would say hi. I am new to all Deaf. I am a hearing person who is seriously studying ASL and hope to become an interpreter soon. I would like to work as a Deaf advocate in the future also. I was already in my mid 30's when I decided to change my career. Now I attend the university full-time it is a big change but I feel that it is never to late to pursue your dream. I am busy with school but I enjoy going to Deaf events to socialize and chat in ASL. I am from Michigan and would be interested in meeting more Deaf from my area. Please let me know if you know about Deaf events near me.:wave:

Hi it is just a cute nickname my husband gave me years and years ago. My name really is loreen. It rhymes. I do not really think I am a queen.lol:giggle:
