Hello all,
I am a 52 year old male who has recently left my job as a district manager in retail because I can no longer hear at all. I have severe tinnitus. total nerve deafness in my left ear; and degenerative hearing loss in my right ear that has reached 115 decibal loss in almost all frequency range. Some of my loss comes from an early life career in music as a drummer. I have had a 35 year career in Retail management and have been successfull in that feild, but my ability to hear has really deteriorated over the past 4 years and continues to worsen. I am looking for new opportunities and ideas about future employment. I do not want to survive on ss disability the rest of my life. Is there anyone else out there going through the same type situation?
