Hello, I am pretty much deaf in my left and only hearing about 30% in my right...just got fitted with 2 new NaidaQ50 UP hearing aids and need some assistance. On the car drive home I honestly felt like there was a 747 taking off inside my head anytime the car was moving...I couldn't hear my husband, sadly couldn't hear ANY of my music (which I was so excited to experience). When the car stopped at a light, I could hear somewhat normally again...everything was very loud in my left ear and muted/soft in my right. The new Audi basically switched my aids on and I was in and out in a half hour....huh??? I was expecting a bit more than that?! I am returning tomorrow hoping to get some things straightened out but am praying someone will help me figure out what it is I need for my settings? I believe I have 3 on the Q50 up? I have 6 kids, love to listen to music and tv shows/movies on the big screen, my mind is constantly doing overtime to figure out what I'm hearing and I lip read voraciously. Help? I will also be receiving the accessories available with the Naida as well, so I imagine that will involve more tweaking?? :ty:

Have you thought about a music program, music program's seem to be pretty standard program.

It might be too much base if it sounds like a 747 going off in your head?

The problem when driving and not being able to hear anything until stopped is to do with SoundFlow.

EDIT - The music program is also the TV program according to my audiologist. The program is known as Music/TV.

I have the older Naida Q50 UP which is the Naida S III UP and love mine. I find my Naida S III UP works better then the better Naida S V UP.

The Naidas have so much to them that you are likely to have to go back for quite a few adjustments. I had quite a few adjustments but some people have close to 20 adjustments to get the Naidas right for themselves.
