Hi,
I am deaf in one ear since birth, it is all I know. My adopted mom is deaf in the opposite ear (strange coincidence). I have 4 daughters and 1 son. I stumbled across this site while researching the plausibility of a person deaf in one ear becoming a police officer. When I was younger i tried to become one and they told me no! So I posed the question in google and was lead to this site. Come to find out there are some out there.... bravo! Anyways, I am empowered there is a site that has some people that can relate to me.
