I just wanted to say Hi and see if I would be welcomed here. I am new to Indiana and am trying to get plugged in with some Deaf/HH groups. I was involved in some in AZ and miss my friends already. I also have two small children that I am teach ASL to and want to get them involved in play groups. Both my kids are hearing, I have some hearing problems and are still in the issues with drs. My hearing is changing monthly. So much fun. My 1 year old is responding very well to sign as he doesnt seem to want to talk at all. My two year old loves to sign on her own terms. She will sign when around others who will sign with her, but speak when spoken to. Its hard to get them involved with others who sign, since they are hearing many groups do not welcome us. I do hope to meet some people in the area who I can get to know and become friends with. Thanks for reading.
