I see so many threads that ask questions about ASL.What about adding a forum for those learning ASL to exchange tips and to post questions about ASL?? That would be easier and faster for people to find that kind of info. I'm thinking of asking my husband to join this forum if there was such a thing to improve his ASL.

:ty:

thats why the ASL forum is their. check it out , you also might want to check out aslpro.com

You may not realize this but I know my ASL resources, and I feel I need to clarify my thread.

With that being said, I want my hearing husband to enrichen his ASL learning experience with interaction since there are no ASL classes in Norway (of course, right?), so I suggested a learning forum for all students and other interested members to share tips to learn ASL or something.

I guess I should say under the language forum as a "learning ASL" subforum or something to make it easier for people like my husband who have little time to search through a huge forum database. Wouldnt it just be easier to have a subforum for the same topic that is becoming more and more popular?

That's a good idea Liza but I'm not sure how to make it work yet. Would you like to help with the forum if it was created for ASL learning?

Not a bad idea I'm still learning myself on ASL. I didn't start until 2002. I didn't know the ABC's in ASL although I did learn that in one night when I started studying it. That would be a very good start for those just starting to learn ASL. Then move on to the basic everyday usage of ASL then onto more & more.

maybe that ASL learning forum can include all the ASL vidoes of stories cuz it is a great and fun way for those who are learning ASL?
