BlackBerry Z10 On Verizon And AT&T Photo - Business Insider
We just got our hands on two images of RIM's upcoming BlackBerry phone, the BlackBerry Z10.

The source who provided the images says he's been testing two variants of the phone recently –– one on Verizon and one on AT&T. In one of the photos, you can see Verizon's branding on the front cover of the phone.

RIM will formally unveil the Z10 and the new BlackBerry 10 operating system at a big press event on January 30.

Here are some initial impressions of the BlackBerry Z10 and BB10 from our source:

The build quality is really nice. The back cover feels rubbery and snaps on sort of like the back cover on Samsung's Galaxy S III.

The screen looks great.

The web browser is very quick, just as fast as a desktop browser. It also supports Flash.

You can set up separate profiles for work and personal use. This is good for people who want to use one phone for business and play.

It integrates with Evernote.

The new AppWorld store looks a lot like the Google Play store for Android apps.

It only takes one minute to boot up.

Here are the photos. Our source included an iPhone 4S in between the two BlackBerrys to help you compare sizes.

Looks so awesome. But, is this a on-touch screen device? I personally hate on-touch screens on any device.

Yes, it will have onscreen keyboard like iPhone.

It is standard for onscreen keyboard only on market and you have to take time for adjustment. It took 3 months for me to get used with iPhone's onscreen keyboard.

Do BBs still truncate your emails or hang when they update flash on the web sites? I have a few web sites I can no longer get to because my phone is thrown into a race condition where it just hangs and the OS is held hostage by the code executing from the web site, and I end up pulling the damn battery. I hate my phone. I want another phone, but my priority is getting out of where I live ASAP. I have lots to pay off, and my ability to just absail over to the next town when I want to is top priority. Besides, I had to upgrade to an external hard drive for data backups.

I won't be continuing with RIM, for sure.

Cool! but Blackberry apps are not much. iOS apps are very lots! Android apps, too.

I wonder if any mobile VP apps works with Blackberry? I think they will have to update software to add new Blackberry to the list

Catty

yes lot of apps but 80% of apps are probably hardly used or untouched.

No, ontouch screen devices are not my preference because I do NOT want to touch anything on it except its keyboard. Would you like to touch something when someone didn't wash his or her hands and rub your device's screen? No thanks. *shudders*

The keyboard does get dirt too, so no difference.

You can clean the screen and it is very easy to clean the iPhone screen.

The concern about dirty is one of most ridiculous concern.

You have to adjust as change in technologies and the phone with physical keyboards are obsolete now, or you will have no phone or outdated phone.

Sighs. Good grief!

I just don't want anybody to touch my screen, period! I guess you never understand why, so whatever. :|

By the way, IT'S NOT EVERYONE WANT TO HAVE A ON-SCREEN DEVICE. It's not hard to understand...

I never share my iPhone with someone so you don't need to share your phone with anyone, so there are no laws or rules that require you to share your phone with anyone.

I'm pointing that physical keyboard can get dirty and more difficult to clean than touchscreen, trust me because I have experience with mobile technologies. The touchscreen is easy to clean and you can ask The Highlander or Jiro if you need more know.

By the way, IT'S NOT EVERYONE WANT TO HAVE A ON-SCREEN DEVICE. It's not hard to understand...

Have you used touchscreen phone for long time? If so what kind?

Most people, especially me, got used with touchscreen in few months and I used to hate touchscreen in past, but I love it now. The capacitive touchscreen is newest technology that started with original iPhone in 2007 since most old phone with touchscreen had resistive touchscreen, like Treo, it means you had to press so hard, but not true for iPhone because you don't have to press so hard anymore.

I think you will have some uncomfortable transition from old phone to new phone that use totally different technology like from Blackberry device with physical keyboard to iPhone with touchscreen. There are very, very few new phone with physical keyboard on market if you don't want to take a risk.

Sure, it's easy to clean but does that mean I MUST MUST to have it? Blah. Again, it's not everyone who likes or loves touchscreen devices. Deal with it!

Sighs! No, it's not what I mean! If they need for 911 or family reasons, I would have not a problem to help them out. That is where I don't want to wash it again, again, again, and all over again. I don't know why you think I am some kind of "silly person" who believes in laws whose require you to share anybody.

AND! YOU ARE NOT ME! Stop comparing my experiences with yours. Lubricious!

I'm really going to miss physical keyboards. It's difficult to type on these smooth screens because there is no tactile feedback. I miss that spingy feel.

What are you doing if phone with physical keyboard isn't exist on market?

What is wrong with your attitude? There is no reason to be angry at me and it doesn't change my stance because I'm speaking based on my experience and share some experience from other people. I felt that you are shouting at me and it is very rude.

I don't force you to have touchscreen phone, but I just give a strong suggestion and I don't appreciate your attitude toward to me.

For me, I don't clean my iPhone so often, may every few days with soft cloth that you use to clean the glasses or sunglasses, that's ultimately easy for sure.

Of course, the technologies do change over time.

Like you care. Who mentions "The concern about dirty is one of most ridiculous concern"?

You did show me how you don't care about someone's personal preference. Basically, you said I need to deal with new phones for new technology.
