I really do not like my audi. I had a consulation a month ago at CHS and the audi was wonderful! I cannot afford their prices though! It's $60 just for a hearing test but she was really nice..she explained everything she did this inner ear measurement thing and that was pretty good she said and i had never had that done so extensively before. The only reason why I would want to stay with the audi I have now is because I can trade in my ha I have now and it will take off $1050 off he one ha i want. I also lost more hearing in my left so I *think* I have to ge an ha for that ear too...but the thing is my audi said it went down in the lower frequencies to b/w 40 and 55 and he never said whether or not I should get an ha for my left...i find it frusterating that he's so blah. The place I go usually deals with really old people and I have NEVER seen a person below the age of 50 there before ...should I switch audis and just look around to see if they can cut a deal with phonak to see if they will do the switch and maybe take some $$ from the current ha i have to go towards the new ha's i want. I'm just frusterated cuz maybe it's cuz he's young and inexperienced but my ears are quite important and it's like he doesn't really care...

if you're uncomfortable with your present audi, i'd switch. i'd also check with other local audis to see if they would be willing to honor your trade-in for a new hearing aid. if you can't find anyone who will, i'd try to stick it out with this audi until you're able to trade in for a new hearing aid and then i'd switch audis for good. there's no sense in staying with an audi that you're unhappy with.

When my hearing deteriorated a lot, my old HAs (which were a year old) were no longer strong enough for my needs. They were under warranty and the company (GN resound) refunded my money IN FULL! I'd check with your old audie and see if yours are still covered. If so, maybe you can "trade them in".
Worst they can say is "no"... :hmm:

I can trade them in the only thing is after if i switch audis im gonna have to pay for another service plan and extras cuz i dont buy the ha's with them. My una CAN be traded in but I do not like the audi at all!
