I'm a college student in my third year pursuing a degree in speech pathology. I'm taking ASL 1 over again in college because I took ASL 1 and 2 in high school but never got a chance to keep up with it. I'm actually hard of hearing but it doesn't affect me greatly. I am completely deaf in my right ear. It really doesn't suck. I get the best of both worlds. I can hear but then when I sleep on the side I am deaf on, I hear nothing!
I want to meet some deaf people because I would love to keep up with my signing and want to learn more about the culture.
