NEED YOUR an expert "icing" taster

Hey,

I am wondering which icing do you prefer on the banana with chocolate chops bundt cake.

Cinnamon icing ? = Butter, milk, cinnamon, powedered sugar, vanilla extract

Or

Brown sugar icing ?=Butter, milk, brown sugar, powdered sugar, vanilla extract


I will make banana with chocolate chips bundt cake without any kind of spice grounds such as cinnamon, netmeg or allspice.

HOWEVER, I ll add 1/2 brown sugar in the cake along with 1 1/2 cups of white sugar.

***I read some recipe, tend to be 2 cups of sugar OR one cup sugar and one brown sugar mixed OR ............(I chose -->) half cup brown sugar and 1 1/2 cup of white sugar mixed.

Botti, lol. I knew you would be the first person to answer. Hee hee THANK YOU. I actually think about brown sugar. That would make sense that chocolate chips cookies with brown sugar. Nothing with cinnamon so i decide for brown sugar. Actually i think chocolate and cinnamon clash rather than banana and cinnamon.

Try substituting honey for brown sugar, it goes alot better with cinnamon.

Yeah I want to!! The problem is that my kids are not a fan of honey. I make it for my kids's sakes. :lol:

Banana plain with chocolate chips bundit cake with something icing on it. I was thinking the powdered sugar on it but screw them, and i want to experiment with brown sugar icing on it. You know??
 
I think the powdered sugar, with little vanilla extract sound good with chocolate . Or how about chocolate icing ?

so people can have a choose of what they likes best. Do we get to taste it too to see how it came out??

You know what works. :P I tend to substitute honey to keep the sweetness down, but never had the combination you're speaking of.

My girl prefers too little chocolate that CC is in banana cake. :)

I know it is not easy!!




I am dying to make a pumpkin cake with cinnamon frosting, and i will make one for my girlfriends in the near future.
 
I'm craving a banana cake with French chocolate buttercream icing now. Yum

I do agree that a brown sugar icing sounds nice too though.
 
I ended up putting the powdered sugars on it. My kids requested for it and it turned out better without icing except powdered sugar.

Either one is fine but I don't remember getting the invitation.....:lol:
