my mom and I had an interesting converstation on how my younger sister likes to learn japanese language, and she's also taking courses at her high school. My mom mentioned that she might suprise my sister by going to japan next summer.
i'm jealous

any popular places to visit? any suggestions? anything that we should be careful about?? if u know a little, please post!! if you know a lot, that'd be helpful!! many thanks!!

Japan is a relatively safe country to visit, and one of the most expensive place to visit. Japan has little natural resources, so they import a lot of things. That is why things are so expensive in Japan.

There are a lot of things to know about Japan. Some toilets are not like ours... Some toilets are on the bottom of the floor so you would have to squat and pee. And remember to buy toilet papers before going to the toilet, as they dont furnish toilet papers in the toilet stalls.

I am sure there are more but none more comes to my mind... The popular places to visit are Tokyo (obviously), Kyoto, Hiroshima, Osaka, etc... Sapporo and Hokkaido are popular for winter resorts (skiing, etc...).
