My niece tried to get on Rehab but she was told they're only helping people that have more than one handicap b/c their funding been cut.   It's harder to get help from VR or Rehab these days.   I really feel you should get a  SSI lawyer soon to see how to deal  with this.  SSI  is going to want the money back soon.  Good luck!
