Hi, and thank you in advance. I'm actually hearing, but I'm learning ASL to teach my infant son. I know that most people in the Deaf community have name-signs so no one has to finger-spell every time, and my son's nickname is "Bonk" because he has, from birth, 'bonked' his head off of my jaw when burping him.
My thought was to use something denoting that as his name-sign, like tapping an 'a hand' gently on the cheek or jaw.... however, I don't know if that's a sign for something I'd rather not use and I don't have anyone I can currently ask IRL.
Can anyone help me or suggest a better name-sign?
