Hi AliciaI am also new to the Naida's I got mine about 3 weeks ago. Like you I have Naida V's sp. My loss is profound in the higher ranges and of course my speech recognition isn't that good. My audiogram is described as a ski slope I'm sort of on the fence right now if they are in fact helping. I do hear a lot more things then I did but when it comes to speech discrimination I'm still uncertain if I'm benefitting. I was going to try Sonovations AVR Impact as well that has frequency compression similar to soundrecover. Have you or anyone else ever tried it? I do like the icom but not for music. While I do hear many notes that I could not before, I just don't like the overall sound. I will have to get my audi to tinker with the programmiing a bit.
