Wow, I haven't check alldeaf for while. Now I am back.
My new daughter Melika born on September 21, 2009. She's 10 pound and 21 half inch long. It was the most of pain ever I had. My son Damien, he's 3 years old. He's really good big brother to Melika. At begin, He was kinda snob on Melika. He held her short time then dislike it. Then later, again held her short time then he don't want to hold her anymore and had a dirty face. lol.
We all tried to make him to accept Melika. So about 2 weeks later, finally he really love Melika so much, always wanted to help me with Melika, and always wanted to hold Melika, played with her.
I think Melika is deaf. Not sure yet. Melika had hearing test at hospital for 3 times, all isn't pass. Then came back when Melika was 2 weeks old, took test again..Still not pass. Now I am still waiting for specialist to call me for making appointment for Melika to take hearing test at different place. I hope soon, I really want to know if she's really deaf or not.
We tried to scream or clapping so hard near Melika, but she never respond to it. I think it's funny that at hospital, the babies was in the room when mothers needed to rest. I went there for hearing test, I saw three carts with baby in it. I was clap hard just once, they pop up got scared with hands went up so fast lol, I felt bad for babies to got scared. I was just curious about newborn babies if they can hear it. But yea they can hear it very well. So I doubt Melika have wet in her ears. They keep telling me that maybe Damien have wet in his ears when he didn't pass the test but found out he's really deaf. So I think it will be same as Melika.
