I use My IP Relay on AIM alot whenever I'm outside or somewhere using my sidekick2. On pc, sometimes I use it but do use other services like i711 and IP Relay online.

So far, my experience using MIPR service has been wonderful. I even own a MY IP Relay Number so I can use it specially for my business or non-business hearies to call me. Anytime, anywhere while I'm mobile they can reach me.

Whenever I don't turn my aim on, they can always leave a message by call so IP Relay send me email with caller's message. So far it works great. It's like a free telephone number with message recorder all in a mobile pager.

I can call them either anytime, anywhere without paying a penny! Can't beat that, amen! (same with other relay services) But this one is quite unique and ideal for deaf sidekickers while in mobile especially. Both incoming and outgoing calls work fine.

So I took an advantage by disconnecting BellSouth telephone service and that even saves me $40 monthly .. almost $500 a year, yeeah! Why? I don't even use TDD anymore and only recieved crap calls (all by voices - no use) so thanks to MIPR! Oh, to add that I use the VP-100 with home phone numbers and it still works even after the telephone disconnected. Brilliant. :D

Also on AIM MIPR that you can read others in BOLD while yours in light .. that makes it easier if you need to review your conservation or by others. That feature doesn't exist in the IP Relay (not in AIM) in the sidekick, ironically.

Take a great advantage of getting your own free MIPR Number, you deaf sidekickers will love them, believe me! And cut your home telphone bills and save you bunch of money unless you really need it for other reasons.

I have Fido here in Canada and I use the My IP Relay. Half the time I dont get my calls bcause the conection between their AIM and FIdo's servers is toooo slow. I had their customer service help me and they said I was way too slow. I dont know why that is but at least I am able to get email msgs if I miss the call.

I registered with i711.com and am very happy with their service. Even got my own 800 number through them to use. :)
