You can see the damage on the bottom of the keyboard. It was dropped like less than 2 feet to the really hard bare floor at the hospital and that's how the damage looks. It happened on Dec 2007 and I'm surprised it still works. 0.0

gosh ! ur HTC abuser ! i ll report HTC police immedicately ! ;)

same happened to my wife. she droped her 8525 onto streets or concrete paths for a million times. good enough. her mobile keyboard just popped out just like yours. but it kept working greatly. until she drowned it with water so she got new TILT few wks ago. she loves it more than 8525. heh.

check on craigslist to see if any tilts are on sale. i plan to buy blackjack 2 so i can swamp both back and forth because i need to understand how useful it is so i can be smartphone expert for those smartphone newbies.

Haha, very funny! That sucks about the damage it caused of your wife's 8525.

Are you getting iphone 3g? I am not getting a new phone anytime soon because of my tight budget.

lol, it seems kinda roughly damage on keyboard, my SK2's keyboard was damaged by slipped the rubber keyboard off with my hand.

My SK3 is start fall in apart, such as external LCD fake glass were removed and around of face on LCD like T-Mobile logo had removed, it was accident so many time, even I had experience on OS crash on my SK3 in every 2-3 days if run all day due slowly decline of function on motherboard, it can be die in later.

Javascript is biggest issue on SK3, it make soooo slow and run like shit.

I stood up. I looked at my iphone and floor. I guess 4 feet.
Use my knee on the floor... look like less than 2 feet
I guess... Are you midget?

I was sitting, that's why. I'm 5'6" so does that sound like a midget to you?

LOL.. That's better explain. You sat on the chair.

Most common for people drop cell phone when they stood.

I am 5-11 tall. Look at my pant's pocket to the floor about 3 feet. That's why I wonder why you drop HTC.... less than 2 feet.... Made me think you are midget. Now, I understand you sat on the chair.

That's freak happen when you sat on the chair.
Sorry about your HTC.
I have no idea how to replace keyboard. Try to find part at ebay or craigslist or google to find good price.

Usually, I saw (Verizon, AT&T, Mobile and Sprint) HTC's keyboard are missing at dummy/display. Hope not happen to my wife has ATT Tilt. Right now, she is in Italy. Her cell phone does not work in europe. Maybe, AT&T TAP does not cover outside North America.

That sucks. Same thing with a friend of mine last year she went to Japan and no way to contact so had to wait for her to come back to USA to get a hold of her before I come visit her. I bet it will cost more if you ask your provider to have it cover for a short time in another country. I wouldnt go for it. LOL

you need to call them to allow your mobile roaming in other country like unlock something because at&t trys to protect the customers from the theives that try stealing their ph numbers to take the advantage to call anyone so that go to your billing. at&t tilt can work anywhere in world but be warning. it is not cheap roaming fee - data fee costs more than voice fee. :( text msg is more safe to communiate IMO. it worked when my wife used her 8525 when she was in europe last nov.

Tell your wife to go visit internet cafe and she can chat to you. :D

Yes, she did send me two emails from bar/cafe. Big problem too many people wait for only 5 computers. Limit 1 hour to use computer.

Recently, bus driver/boat driver were on strike at Venice (italia) and suburb. Owner of bar/cafe has no car. No way to reach bar/cafe. She was stuck that bar/cafe was not opened. Our condo is near to bar/cafe.

Please do not talk off topic. Let talk about his HTC's keyboard is damaged. Someone can help him to find new keyboard for his HTC.

I still have the old HTC Tynn II (Herpes) Anyone want it? It's POS, anyway.

I sure hope so.

I got HTC Dream, aka G1 today from delivery and I'm very impressed with new phone.

I will going to att store soon to get setup on new account and activation.

So, you want my old centro and use under Sprint? :)

Nah, I already have a new phone but thanks. I bought it on end of Nov 2008. Don't worry, I will get something else that's not Windows Mobile. Possible the Android phone or similar.
