My Grandma listens to Country Music on the radio every morning some certain radio station had annouced that they want people to write a letter to them and make a wish and if they like ur letter you win and will get ur wish.. well, My grandma wrote a letter to the Radio Station about us (^Angel^ and I) and how she wanted to be able to communcate with us through a TDD And that She is old and cannot afford 345.00/Less for a TDD. I can't remember every details she had said in her letter, but the radio station looked at her letter and end up in tears and My grandma won a TDD. She was sure surprised! and Happy that now she can be able to talk to us through the TDD. :D

You will have to teach her how to use it now :) It will be awesome.

I miss my grandmas. :(

2/23/04 and 3/14/02 RIP

My Grandma is the Greatest after all she is lonely after losing her husband years ago.. She wanted to talk to us through TDD Better than using the Relay service because she wanted to see us type. :)

Beside, I do not think Grandma would want a Computer...(Keep fingers Cross)

:thumb: Cheri for your grandma but :tear: for my grandma passed 3 years ago tomorrow on July 21 at 9:45am... but my grandma did bought a tty couple months before her death. She wrote a paper in the tty package that tty was meant to give to me so I have it and use it now (I still have her note which she wrote to me about the tty)

yeah my grandma will always rest in peace after her pain from Leukemia...

Wow...it's great and heart warming to see that your grandmother is devoted to you and your sister -- and wanting to stay in touch via TDD, not via relay service...prefer direct contact! :)

I miss my grandparents. My grandmother (mum's) died of a stroke in '86 (I was only 15), Grandpa (mum's) died when I was 6 in 1976 (blood clot)...grandma (dad's) died in '89 when I was 18 (old age, she was 70 something) and grandpa (dad's) died years before I was born, didn't know him...he died in his early 30's and from cirrhosis (liver disease).

wow, you have cool Granny :D Congrulation!!!

I lost 4 Grandparents to heaven.

1. My favorite Grandma (my mother's mom) died of cancer aged 59 in 1979
2. My Grandpa (my father's dad) died of blood clot to block his heart aged 61 in 1979 (suddenly)
3. My Granny (Dad's mom) died of Ahzhiemer aged 77 in 1988.
4. My Garndpa died of old aged 99 in 2000.

This is life!

That's awesome that you two can get talk with your grandmother on the telephone without the relay operators' assistances. :)

For years, I've considered buying my 83-year-old material grandmother a basic Krown Research Inc [now known as Krown-TTY] TTY machine, but I thought it'd be too much for her to use one. I thought it'd be great use for her, since there is some other hearing impaired [deaf and hard-of-hearing] relatives in the family that use TTY machines.

That's terrific your grandmother want to talk with you two directly!

I wish my grandmother is able to use TTD but no good as she's suffering from Dementia, and she is too old to learn how to handle new technology anyway.

You twins are more luckier than you'll ever know :)
