Finally have Medicaid, and have copied the card and faxed it to Rocky Mountain Ear Center. The surgeon's assistant is going to find out about the coverage and whatnot for me, then from there, if Medicaid is definitely for sure covering the implant, we should be able to schedule a surgery date.

Now I'm just wondering how long it'll take to hear whether or not Medicaid will approve.. heh. I hate waiting sometimes, but eh what else can I do?

YAY!!!! You're getting it in your dead ear right? AWESOME!!!! I'm psyched!

She will be able to hear in both ears by getting CI in the dead ear. She also won't risk losing residual hearing and can save her good ear. Good luck with your CI, cdmeggers! Hope you don't have to wait much longer!
