Talk about unexpected problems with vehicles, Three months ago I had a starter difficulty which lock an iffy starter up, and my Exhaust pipe was leaking, Got those repaired and cost me nearly $400.00. :|

In October, I had overheating, and smokes coming out of my front hood, and found out there was a hole under the Radiator hose, had to replace the whole thing, cost me $800.00

And then in December I was having difficult with my brakes "front brakes", I heard noises, few weeks later it got worse, I couldn't hardly make a full stop while pressing the brakes, :pissed: So I took it to the shop today, at the same time I was so tight on money at this time of the season, I was praying that it would not cost too much, So when I called the shop next door to my house, asking if they checked on my brakes? And they told me they were looking at it now, will have to call back, So I waited for like 2 hours and called them back, They said they haven't done looking at it, I was like  Wait a min. two hours ago they were looking at it and still hasn't done yet? So, then I asked him do you have any idea how much this is gotta cost me? He said Oh about $57. and some change, I was like praise the Lord! Finally something is cheap. I asked him when can I picked it up after you are done? He said why don't you come tomorrow. I'm like ok sure. ;)

So an hour later Roadrunner came over my house and gave me my keys for my car. I'm like  You got my car? He said yes, And I said what's going on? You paid for it? He said "yes, Merry Christmas!" I was lost in space, He said "that's your Christmas present". I'm like no way! :eek2: I almost lost it because earlier he gave me $40.00 and he also paid $57. to get my brakes repaired? I lost it big time, and gave him a hug and thanked him so much, After he left, I lost it again and started crying. :tears:

So, I wanted to created this thread for Roadrunner and tell him Thank you so much again with all my heart! :ily: That was the most sweetest thing anyone ever done for me. I'm greatful to have you as my brother in law, Hey it's not about gifts or money, It's just nobody really done something like that for me in a long time. :aw:

Awww that's sweet of Roadrunner gave you a free repair for you on the brakes, I'm glad you saved $57 extra. :D

I forgot to add why $57.00 for brakes in the front? Because all I need was pads for both sides in front only. ;)

Yes, Sequoias It was very sweet of him. Save me $57. :giggle:

I always know that Roadrunner is a good person... Yes, you are very very very lucky to have him as your "brother-in-law"...

I know it's sucker to repair car with a lot of money. It look like that you have an Angel protection is save $57...

Wow.. Not many brother-in-laws would do that for their sister-in-laws. RR, that shows you have a great heart! :thumb:

Now that amazes me, my hat goes off to RoadRunner! He deserves an applause or two from everyone in here ;) And, Cheri, I'm glad the situation worked out very well for you in time for the holidays.

Roadrunner?

Gotta say something dude? I want him to be able to tell you all what happened when he stopped at the Auto repair shop where my car was at, He told me alit bit about it last night. I wanted him to be the one telling you all what happened. ;)

Thank-you all for your kindness comments, You're right not all brothers in laws would do something special for sisters in laws. You could say I got a miracle for Christmas. ;)

ahh what a cool guy he is... cheri, maybe his face turns red at this moment when he sees your posts. ;)

Maybe RoadRunner would like some respect so leave him alone. Nothing wrong with that, Cheri.
If I were in RR's shoe, I'd like anonymity.

Maybe RR is busy right now.. I don't think he'd be ashamed to speak what he want to say. Perhaps, Cheri and RR okayed that Cheri can put a new thread about what happened. She's just proud of RR for giving her a Christmas "miracle".

Yea, always there a maybes.

As much as I really do appreciate the thoughtfulness of Cheri creating a thread on behalf of what took place yesterday. :ty: Thanks...but you didn't have to do this, but I know you were really...umm...thunderstruck...heh...but really, your car wasn't safe and with your boys, etc....and knowing you were kinda having a tight budget....AND I do believe in 'miracles' of Christmas and it's such something to treasure and cherish when reaching out to others, especially within family....

After I had stopped and asked if you had found out anything in regards to your car...not knowing anything yet, etc., and then I asked you what you had and thinking you didn't have enough to cover the expenses and gave you what I assumed would be enough...then after leaving your place, I went over to the auto shop where your car was and spoke with the man and he hadn't yet looked at your car...he mentioned that he was going to check it in about 20 minutes...I asked him how much it would be no matter if it was just brakes or rotors also...he told me and then I told him to go ahead and do it no matter and then I told him that I knew Cheri would be calling to check about her car and told him to just tell her that you were looking into it....and that I would be back later in the afternoon...when I got back and he was awaiting on the parts, sure enough, he said that she was definitely very lucky as the brake pads popped off when he took it inside the garage and the pads/plate were snapped in half, in bad condition...and sure enough, he also stated that Cheri had called zazillion of times..., poor guy! I apologized to him for that inconvience and he just shrug it off and was fine with that...and he was really being cool about the whole thing. So when I came back when the car was done being repaired...I took the keys and went over to Cheri's place of residence and knocked, I went up to her and held out the keys and handed over the keys and she had this bewildered look on her face and I simply told her that her car was out front and was done repaired...boy, she had the look of being confused and then seeing that her car was indeed out front...I told her..."Merry Christmas!" and then asked her if she believed in the 'miracle' of Christmas and she nodded eagerly....

All I ever wanted was to see that she had a safe car to drive and knowing that her boys won't have to bite on their nails everytime the brakes were screeching and trying to come to a stop. Christmas is about 'giving'...unto others and that I take much solace and happiness when doing this. I've been down that 'road' before long ago and know what it is like to have a miracle of Christmas make an astounding impact that brings about happiness and harmony! There's much joy in that....

I'm sorry I haven't replied to this earlier as I've been busy zoomin' from one store to another....the next pleasant surprise will come soon....so pssttt ^Angel^, be prepared!!! :D

I wish everyone here in Alldeaf a truly happy and joyful Christmas!!

~RR
