Yesterday, I went to the mall and wanted getting a Oakley sunglasses which costs $155 bucks. here is the picture what I am talking about, http://www.sunglasshut.com/sghus.cf...roductid=101131 .

here is our conversation,

Chuchin1994: u know Oakey sunglasses?
stt: yes
stt: ?
Chuchin1994: YesterdayI went there to check.. the one with gray and blue oakney sunglasses it costs $155 bucks
Chuchin1994: i will show u a picutre what I am talking about
stt: overpriced
stt: dont bother
stt: if you pay more than 15 bucks for sunglasses
stt: you payed too much
stt: no need
stt: to pay for more than 15 bucks
Chuchin1994: an diamond ear piece for $120 bucks.. I have nt decided to pick betweem them
Chuchin1994: why is that?
stt: dont waste money like that
stt: save money for something else
stt: not for an ear piece or sunglasses
Chuchin1994: http://www.sunglasshut.com/sghus.cf...roductid=101131
Chuchin1994: this one I am talking about
stt: no way man
stt: get one for 15 bucks
stt: thats it
Chuchin1994: lol
Chuchin1994: allright...
stt: you dont need $155 sunglasses
Chuchin1994: u dont nees guess wallet for 40 bucks
Chuchin1994: u can get it for 5 bucks.
stt: yeah but a wallet is durable
stt: sunglasses , you have to be carefull you dont sit on them
Chuchin1994: yeah...
stt: if they fall they break
stt: they scratch
Chuchin1994: yeah i know..
stt: no way
stt: fuck that
stt: i had my wallet for now 5 years
stt: same wallet
stt: and it costed me 50 bucks
stt: but sunglasses break too easily
stt: you understand what i am saying
Chuchin1994: Yeah.....
Chuchin1994: And then.. I guess I can buy some clothes or something...
stt: yeah
stt: something that will last you a long time

Should I buy it or you agreed with my little brother?

 I agree with your brother...fuck that $155 just for sunglasses? fk that!

Edit: I rather to spend $150 worth on clothes, etc than just ONE THING sunglasses...it's waste of money. :o

that cost sounds approximate to a Rx glasses/sunglasses -- ive had to spend that much $$ for Rx glasses (mine is the transitional kind that goes from regular glasses to sunglasses in the same lens u know what i mean qq)

if theyre not for Rx -- dont bother -- get those cheeper sunglasses for $40 or less -- save that much money for other things that would last a long time

I got my sunglasses for 20 bucks... and I have had them for three years already. Love them still. I must agree with your brother for not buying that expensive sunglasses. They may be stolen easily,... they may be broken easily (if you are not careful).

yes for real DefMatrix -- my glasses are Rx -- u can find those kinds of lenses from any eyeglass retail stores -- LensCrafters, Pearle Express and other related stores in ur hometown

These kinds of glasses are easy to get if you have an eye doctor working with your eyes. I attend my eye doctor regularly, and he offered me these kind of glasses, but I denied because I prefer disposable contact lens with cheap sunglasses. LOL

Yeah I noticed my contact lens have UV I dont know what RX means lol now I know... he he he

DefMATRIXense.

go for em ! i love oakley sunglasses.. i have had many different sunglasses from oakley ! my current oakley sunglasses was worth 150 dollars in 2000 and i still have em since then.

take a good care of them and you will be OKAY.

sheesh DefMatrix -- all u had to do was ask what Rx meant LOL and i wouldve been more than happy to answer the question :)

I agree with ur lil bro. he's wiser with money than you do.

It is a fact. I would rather to buy a glasses for 15 dollars.. than 155 dollars. oh you crazy!

I think spending 155 bucks on a pair of sunglasses is kinda crazy.

I only paid 20 bucks for mine, and it's quite comfortable. Of course, that would be like 15 bucks or less to you in US Dollars.

Id rather pay 5 to 10 bux at the walmart for those cheap-o ripoff of those "Risky Business" sunglasses

Its cuz I keep losing a lot sunglasses all the time

I never buy Oakley glasses...I had one given to me..and it broke when I played baseball two weeks later. That gave me the idea not to pay for an expensive sunglass.

It's just a motorcycle...forget the ninjas..just buy a honda..it's cheap..and when you buy the ninja..you're just buying a name.

buying expensive glasses are just plain ridculous i perfer the standard type, cheep 12- 40 bucks glasses are just fine as opposed to a measly 115 bucks think about this that money u buy gets u a two weeks of food on the table for two, so it's not suprising... considering oakley are breakable and wastable money!

I know u guys mean... Few hours ago, I talked to the doctor to set a straight and he said any cheap sunglasses will not be protected your eyes. He said the sunglasses I am talking about will protected your eyes that's why its expensive.

it explains everything
UVA/UVB Protection
UVA rays have been shown to penetrate the under layers of the skin, causing damage and contributing to the skin's aging. UVB rays, the sunburn rays, are the ones that cause the most concern. They can cause keratitis, which is similar to a sunburn on the eye, and have been linked to the development of cataracts. Sunglass lenses block 99% of harmful UV rays.

Polycarbonate Plastic
An extremely strong plastic that is often used in aircraft and motorcycle wind shields. Lightweight and extremely impact-resistant.

Metal
Metal frames usually start with base metals that are copper or nickel alloys. They are then plated with fine metals, such as gold, to give them a rich finish.

$40 bucks more for

Anti-Reflective Coatings
A violet-colored coating on the back of a lens that prevents sunlight from coming in from behind and reflecting off the back of the lens into the eyes. This coating is most useful on water or snow.

That sounds about right.

There's even some cheap sunglasses with 100% polarized Ultraviolet protection that are decent enough. :D

I brought a purple Oakley sunglasses for $135. I had taken care of it for 2 years until one of my frames broke. I really regretted breaking it very much because it's the best sunglasses I ever had. I kinda learned my lesson not to buy it anymore because they break easy unless you take very good care of it like I did.
What happened to warrenty? when u buy a new sunglasses its free for one year. after that, I think $50 bucks for the next 5 years or less. I will find out more informations before I make a decision.
