Moving Posts

When my post/thread is moved tell me?

Its only happened a few times on this board where a post has been moved or delete, but it really drives me nuts when mods do it and dont tell me where it is, or why it was moved. My latest 1 was moved, not deleted, but no pm was sent or anything. I know this has got to tick off other posters. Tell them your thoughts and hopefuly they'll do a pm when they move your posts & threads.
 
Megladon, I know how u feel but I saw it somewhere on This Board about the :Note: The Monitors will move ur thread to the Proper area without notice.. That is what I saw in here somewhere...

I Guess that is how they do it.... cuz it was already warned to us that it would happen...:)

I make it my practice to inform people by PM if I had to move their posts or to ask them to alter their posts. Few times, if the thread gets out of hand, I would move the thread to trash can without any notice because members should get the picture that these kind of posting or behaviour are not to be tolerated.
 
I agree with kootchie, and sometimes SOME moderators WILL inform a couple of them did, and ofc I would say no plm thanks againa nd all that i usually am cool if i relize it;s in the wrong place i would be glad that they put it in the right place that's important!

Boy, the yes votes are just beating out the no votes, i figured it would be higher then that. I'd also like to say that the mod that moved my post did pm me (likely after reading this thread) :beer: But it was still apreciated.
 
it doesnt matter to me if my thread got moved -- i would on occasions leave a note for the mods if ive mistaken a forum for the thread then by all means theyre free to move it to the more appropriate forum and that works fine by me :D
 
I do encourage the moderators to PM the member after his/her thread has been moved to a different forum, especially if a thread is valid but has been posted in the wrong forum.

Sometimes, however, a thread/post can be considered unacceptable, and the moderator has the right to move it to the Mod's Corner for review, or simply move it to the trash, without notice.

Glad to hear the mod has informed you where your post has been moved to, Megladon. And thanks to the mod who did the right thing by taking care of Megladon. Better late than never.
