I was doing some online searches, trying to find an answer to Wilycat's question ( http://www.alldeaf.com/movies-books-tv-media/113204-what-deaf-movie-trying-remember.html ) - and failed, sorry
But in the process I noticed that someone at IMDB put together lists of movies that either have deaf character(s) or actor(s).
(Some other sites have similar lists too.)
It looks like there's plenty on the lists that might not be worth watching. Some look like they don't have enlightened attitudes, some look like they might be on the list in error, some maybe have a deaf person in the film but not in a substantial way.
But at the same time, there are some things on the list that look like they might be good, or at least interesting. So I'm posting it:
