Mom goes online to sell breast milk

If the mother is healthy I see nothing wrong with her selling her milk to someone that may need it.

Why waste the good stuff!! Especially, when it is cheaper and better for babies than formula.

You have made great points.

Cow's milk is heavily regulated. Wonder if the FDA will want to get involved here...

I don't know, I don't think that I would ever buy another woman's milk for my child. Seems kinda weird to me.

Breast milk is also being used in some experimental treatments for adults....seriously

If I couldn't produce breast milk, I wouldn't be afraid to ask my sisters to produce their breast milk for their niece/nephew. They can easily produce it by taking a certain vitamin for a month.

Breast is best!

:hmm: It also contains cellular matter that is unique to her own genetics (immune, antibodies, etc). One safety consideration is whether it can coagulate when consumed by an unrelated baby in a similar manner like matching blood type?

If it were my sister, I would take it. But a stranger? You don't know the things they put into their bodies.
