MN sets largest minimum wage hike in state history

Wonder how many people will lose their jobs because of this? Heads will roll. Companies don't like to increase payroll, especially at the bottom of the skill ladder. What will likely happen is increased duties for the workers that remain, while the payroll amount remains the same.

I was in a union for most of my working life. When we got 4% wage increase, we lost at least 10% of our union brothers and sisters. Every. Single. Time.

Sickening to hear only time truly will tell. I am curious how we can prevent CEOs and upper level management from cutting jobs on lower levels so they can have fatter package or same severance package because they failed to keep jobs they created in the first place.
