Kind of cute!

These are real notes written from parents in a School District. (Spellings have been left intact.)

My son is under a doctor's care and should not take P.E. today. Please execute him.

Please excuse Lisa for being absent. She was sick and I had her shot.

Dear School: Please ekscuse John being absent on Jan. 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and also 33

Please excuse Roland from P.E. for a few days.Yesterday he fell out of a tree and misplaced his hip.

John has been absent because he had two teeth taken out of his face.

Chris will not be in school cus he has an acre in his side.

Please excuse Jimmy for being. It was his father's fault.

I kept Billie home because she had to go Christmas shopping because I don't know what size she wear.

Please excuse Jennifer for missing school yesterday. We forgot to get the Sunday paper off the porch, and when we found it Monday, we thought it was Sunday.

Maryann was absent December 11-16, because she had a fever, sore throat, headache and upset stomach. Her sister was also sick, fever and sore throat, her brother had a low grade fever and ached all over. I wasn't the best either, sore throat and fever. There must be something going around, her father even got hot last night.
 
LOL very obviously!

I take my son school attendance seriously. Even though my son hates it, and it appears that dividends has been earned. My son is now one of top students, and I am going to keep on high attendance regardless.

Even though my parents did ask to have me bring my son to them, I had to decline and told my parents, that my son's school is on #1 priority. They honored my decision.

Good for you!..I feel the same way and my 15 yr. old got an award for perfect attendance last year, he loves school....(guess he doesn't wanna be stuck with me all day yelling in his ear!) J/K....
 
Love the excuses!! As much as I hated school, my mum used to make me go. But I did have some days where I was "Ill"
 
I once used "But mom if I go to school, I will fail this test. Let me stay home a study, so I will pass it tomorrow"

But the best one was when I got my first detention. I was in kindergarden and I didn't want to go outside for recess cause it was Wyo and FREEZING, but the teacher said I could only stay in if my mom wrote a note. So I wrote a note and it said:


"Mrs. K
Please let Brittany stay inside for recess if it is cold out.
Sinsirlee,
Brittanys Mom"

The school even called my mom in cause apparently if I wasn't punished immediately I would become a criminal, so I sat with the 6 graders and had detention the next day. And it was during recess! haha I won still :)
