Next weekend is the drive in movie in new york state in fulton area with open captions!!! just like old times but with captions!!!!!

I went there a few times before and it was fun to watch 3 movies. The kids get to throw the football an hour or so before movie starts in front of the movie screen. I plan on going sat. night if you want to meet me there.

Nothing like being in the comforts of your car, van, truck with your loved ones, maybe even put on some moves during the last movie :D:naughty:

Week 22: 2010 - Midway Drive-in Theatre

Drive-in movie theatres are passe here in Jax....the last one I knew of, closed down and became a Flea Market...then a Church bought the property....Never been to one that offered CC, tho!....

I think this drive-in theatre (Midway in north of Syracuse NY) was the first drive in that offers OC and still the only drive in that offers OC in history. I am curious if I am still wrong, LOL I know that this place is still world's first but the only? I don't know for too sure.

Um... better movies?

Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World and Despicable Me got a lot of good reviews, Charlie St. Cloud got decent reviews too as well.

What were you expecting? Gone with the Wind? Citizen Kane? No?

Those are old movies , do you like to watch old movies?
I do , I love them. I think itwould be fun to go to a drive in movie, i bet my grandchild would gert a kick out watchinga movie in a car. And having CC is really cool.

Yes... I have these movies. Some on Blu-ray Discs too as well. However, I wouldn't go to the theatre to watch these since I already have them at home.

I have a pull-down screen at home, so it gives it a very theatrical atmosphere right in my own home. Not to mention subtitles too. Thank God for that.

There is a drive-in theatre not far from where I live, but I don't go there much due to the lack of captioning.

I used to love Drive in movies. Dive in movies too.

Nothing better than watching Jaws in a pool full of people.

Funny, a moment ago I was just talking about the movie, "Jaws" with a friend.

Still not sure if we are going...I doubt it....wait and see

So, how was it this year?

I've been to three of them (2004, 2005, and 2006). :)
