Hi Everyone...
If anyone has any suggestions in the next 15 hours I would greatly appreciate it...
Here is my problem. I recently bought and have loved the microPower hearing aid with the receiver being inside the mold in the ear....about a month ago I experienced problems with the aid and sent it back to the manufacturer, got it back, wore it for a day, problem started all over again. Since the second time i got it back, I haven't had a problem with it. The manufacturer stated that moisture build up in the inner ear seeped into the mold and affected the receiver. However, my audiologist suggested the Eleva model which is "the same aid" but instead the receiver is in the behind the ear portion of the aid, thus the problem with moisture would be avoided.
My question is, what is the difference of the quality of sound, is it that great of a difference....which one is better?
Unfortunately, if I decide to switch to the Eleva, there is no going back to the microPower......so....as you can imagine....it's a difficult decision.
I appreciate any and all responses. Thanks for your time
Christina
