Hi there!
My name is Megan. I am interested in becoming a sign language interpreter. I love everything about the language. I learned the alphabet and a few other signs as a small kid, and I think that is why I am drawn to it now. Also, When my Aunt taught my cousin sign before he could talk, I found this to be amazing.
I graduated from University of North Texas with a bachelors degree in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior. I did not find passion in this. Fall of 2013, I finally got the courage to follow through with my dream, to become a sign language interpreter.
I am curious if there is any unique job that a combination of a HR degree and a ASL interpreter degree would be useful.
Thank you for your thoughts.
