Ever since summer 1998, when the orginal Blade movie came out, more and more marvel comics are in production for a flick.

in Summer 2000, the orginal X-men hit theatres in roughly around 30.4 million dollars from the box office during the first few days...dang!

Spider-Man, which was released in threatres summer 2002, has sold MORE money than Star Wars: The Attack of The Clones did (NO JOKE!) it was the number 1 box office hit of the summer.

Blade 2, which was released in Febuary 2002, has sold like, ten times more than the money it was sold when the orginal Blade was in the box office.

X2 (X-MEN 2) was definetly the number 1 box office of THIS summer, has nearly beat over "Matrix Reloaded".

DareDevil, which was released on Valentine's Day of this year, has sold over 3 million, so it's not really much of a big deal, but it was like, "fair", you could say...

and now the HULK, one of the biggest summer flicks that everyone has hopes, hypes, and faith for this hottest flick ever.
Has roughly sold over 2.5 million dollars on the first day...holy s***. lol so, it was REALLY good.

Anyway, Marvel Comics has shown alot of really cool superheroes, with the desinty, honor, and freedom, showing that cool heroes can be made into cool movies (no Batman, please)

So anyway, they were all pretty good, and right now I hear that another movie will be in the works for the NEXT summer of 2004...The PUNISHER. and of course, even Spider-Man 2 is said to be released in theatres July 2004, but that just seems abit too early, if you ask me. It was released last year ya know...so, if they make it a rush, it wouldn't be so good at all, you know? so hopefully, they KNOW what they are doing...lol

anyway, it was really awesome that they get to show three awesome movies from Marvel Comics which even made 'em EVEN cooler that way...it's really an great experience, you know. all the great techogoly, all the great computer effects, and costumes and so on...always make the movie look better and cooler than the comics. :P

so, can't wait for PUNISHER next summer...packin' neat ol' guns and stuff...SSSSSSSSWEET! lol

Geez, Batman is not related to Marvel.

Correct!

It's DC, but it's no big deal anyway.

Besides, the Batman franchise is seriously wounded... probably about dead.

Thanks to Warner Bros. for screwing it up.

But now, let's just hope that they will make a comeback in a style similar to Tim Burton's.

The last movie was... horrible!

I am aware that there are still two Batman movies in plan, but one is currently in pre-production as we speak.

Of course, it've been in development hell for years. So, don't hold your breath.

Indeed, the last batman movie "Batman and Robin" was one of the worst comic book based movies i've EVER seen in years! terrible storyline, terrible acting, and terrible casting! George Clooney as Batman? C'MON! whatever happened to Michael (forgot his last name) who played Batman in the 1989 Batman and 1992 Batman Returns? those flicks were really good, but the original is still a masterpiece. "Batman forever" and "Batman & Robin" were really corny, cheezy, and stupid...who lets that director direct those movies?!?! eh anyway, i'm not even abit suprised that another Batman movie is coming, but then again, I hear rumors that Batman won't really be alone...not just with Robin but with...Superman. Oh dear god :ugh: there was never a movie made when two superheroes of the same univerise made a crossover from the comics and cartoons and now into movies?
well whatever...it's Warner Bros.' descision and i bet they will make a HORRIBLE descision anyway.

So, it seems that Marvel is getting richer and richer by each year their superhero makes a leap into the big screen, and earn millions of dollars...so...Marvel is the best place for showing cooler super heroes with better costumes, storyline, and everything else like that.

MARVEL KICKS MAJOR A$$!!!

Ah... I didn't know who made Batman...just thought he was talking about comic in general...sorry my mistake. :p

Since my brother is actually a huge Batman freak, he told me that 4 "gotham univerise" movies are in plans and production...he said that there could be a Robin movie, a Catwoman movie, and even a Nightwing movie...all from the Batman Univerise comics, you know? So it seems unlikely that Chris O' Donnel will return as Robin so they may have to find another actor who can play as Robin...When Batman Forever was made, Chris O' Donnel as Robin didn't get enough money earned in that movie so then since "Batman and Robin" was made and everyone barfed at the sight of this movie, Chris O' Donnel decided to leave the studios...how sad.

So, anyway, it seems that Warner Bros. is being really quite on the upcoming batman movies...so i guess it seems that they are actually working harder than ever to make the best few batman movies before there are ENOUGH batman movies already...

of course, there were already more than 10 James Bond films...

and I heard that the 4th Austin Powers movie is already in production but who knows?

and there are some remakes...you know, there was ALREADY a Punisher movie back in the 1980s, so there proably will be a remake of the 1980s flick..same for Captain America, which was already released back in the late 1980s, would proably be a remake too.

So there are other Marvel comics based movies in the works...

Ghost Rider is said to be released in theatres Halloween 2004.

I'm not even sure about Iron Man, but i did hear that they are planning to make one. Same for X-Men 3 and Blade 3.

Man, i gotta join the Marvel Comics group someday :P

4 Gotham-related movies?

Yes, I can say that Catwoman is in pre-production as we speak. But a movie based on Robin?

It was debunked very quickly, and I don't see it happening.

Anyway, there are 20 Bond movies, not including the unofficial 007 film (Never Say Never (Warner Bros)), and the spy spoof, (Casino Royale).

Now, about Austin Powers 4. It is not in production, since Jay Roach is already busy with some other projects.

But Mike Myers has mentioned that he think that it wouldn't be a bad idea to make a fourth Austin Powers film.

I don't have a problem with "Superman" movie. I like it. I remembered someone said it was the best comic movie ever until X-Men movie appeared.

Yes, I have to say that the movie was pretty good back in its time. Especially the fact that it won Best Picture at the Oscars.

Of course, the franchise was ruined by Superman IV.
