flawed logic. we are innocent until proven guilty.
the equivalent is - the police will randomly stop anybody on street, do a pat-down, ask some questions, and look into their bags. and if we refuse to comply - we may be subjected to arrest, civil lawsuit, and/or fines. 
I don't believe in implementing metal detector or police dogs or armed security at public schools. it's wrong.
